The Pitch: A yellow school bus rolls up to a school in Harlem. On the bus are living historians who hold storytelling sessions using real artifacts that school children can touch and feel. This is the Big History Bus.

Latin History.

Black History.

White History.

Asian History.

Change the word “Bus” to “Buses”.

Change the word “artifacts” to “replicas”.

Think Museum sales of replicas.

Toys. The real Wakanda. Mini African masks and shields.

Think crowdfunded ownership of these artifacts by stakeholders who simply went to a website bought an NFT with their Visa card to make this all happen.

You would own the “Don’t Sit Here” sign being on the bus being showed to school children through this NFT, or the intricately woven cloth from Mexico, or the original recording of a Caribbean folk song.

Alts.co makes a business out of it. So does Masterworks. The original artifact stays in Museum storage building value. It can be shipped as a part of a traveling exhibit. Together we can lift the quality of museums owned by Black, Latin and Indigenous peoples with our own money.

Is this even real? Yes. I have to simply click one button to make it real. But as Dora says I need YOUR help…

We can launch this startup - EMeadersDAO through Syndicate.io placing NFT’s on Open Sea for sale to anyone with Ethereum. We would take the moneys earned from the NFT sale to buy black memorabilia, then make replicas and build a simple framework for historians, YouTubers, storytellers, griots and teachers to ride buses with artifacts to schools for anyone to learn real history. EMeadersDAO would simply become the Big History Bus.

The Elizabeth Meaders collection sold for $1 million dollars in 2022. I tried (and failed) to buy it. The funny thing is with enough interest we could probably purchase the whole thing at a small premium and make this crazy idea somehow work. What do you think?
